Blessing in disguise

Wednesday,12th Jan 2011, 02:46 AM
I feel being secular is only a saying and that too left or exists in text books. Discrimination is creeping every where in the nation. If some body asks some one, that you are from which place, he replies i am from Tamil Nadu or Maharashtra or etc, they never say i am from India and then in India i am from Kashmir.

When a small kid who is just picking up the things from his environment and the culture he belongs to and asks his father that why our country is having so many partitions inside it, then father replies that these are States and to govern them properly its required that the whole country is "DIVIDED" into States, on this that kid says that OK if thats the case then why are these states so unevenly distributed or arranged, Why are we they not evenly shaped with no sharp edge, on this father says that its just that states have been created on the bases of culture and language.

So basically what i am trying to say is that we our self are inculcating the sense of discrimination in our kids and rest of the country men. If that would have been the case then as per the Stats, in India language changes in every 10 km, so then in that case we should have a new state after every 10 Km.

No, this is not the way to handle worlds 2nd largest country in terms of population. In fact we have to bring in some measures that will robust the system and will remove these sect of people or germs from the society who are doing this discrimination and putting our country on bad pages. We have to bring in measures where in we can take the opportunity to use our population as "Blessing in disguise". Only then we can rise like an "Albatross".

So lets pledge to think in a positive way and to provide a better future to our coming ones.
